Gwendolyn D. Jackson is a dedicated library professional with extensive experience in management and information technology. As Director of the Burke County Library, she oversees operations across three libraries and manages staff, budgets, and community programs. Gwendolyn holds an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting from Augusta Technical College, where she also developed her IT skills, leading to a computer technology certificate. She is active in her community and involved with organizations such as the Georgia National Guard Family Support Group, Community Health Team, Burke County Habitat for Humanity, and the Waynesboro Burke Concert Series. She also is a member of the Augusta Technical College Business Technology Advisory Committee. Gwendolyn attributes her success to the challenges she overcame at Augusta Tech, which prepared her to lead with determination and integrity.
